2025 ANSW State Matchplay Championships

This year the ANSW State Matchplay Championships will be proudly hosted by Penrith City Archers over 2 days.  

DATES: 

Saturday 11th October 2025 – Division One - OPEN Division Male/Female, Barebow/Recurve/Compound    

Division Two – Development Division - Male/Female, Barebow/Recurve/Compound All age divisions

Sunday 12th October 2025 - Division One only

LOCATION: Troy Adams Archery Field. Werrington Road, Werrington 2747 - Enter via Colonial Golf course

** Please observe 10km/hr speed limit**

COST: Division One $75 – Division Two $60

           Division Two to shoot AA720 rounds according to AA age Classifications:

PCA has ground policies in place, please abide by & respect our club rules:

*NO dogs off lead or in food/clubhouse areas
*Media / Photos - please make yourself known to the Organising Committee & obtain a hi-vis vest. Obey any instruction from judges & PCA crew.

Competitors - please ensure clothing is neat, tidy, presentable & not camo.

Condition of entry to this event competitors must be aware that the use of their electronic device for online scoring is required.

Join us for a thrilling day of indoor archery at the scenic Wilberforce Butterfly Farm. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or a passionate newcomer, this event promises precision, camaraderie, and a touch of competition magic.

  • Indoor 18m Round

  • Two flights available

  • Limited to 24 archers per flight — secure your spot early!

⏰ Schedule

Registration - Flight One 8am, Flight Two 11.30am

Bow Inspection - Flight One 8.15am, Flight Two 11.45am

Official Practice - Flight One 9am, Flight Two 12pm

Medal Presentation - After Flight Two

$45 per archer
Includes venue access, official scoring, and eligibility for medals.

4th Southern Hemisphere Invitational Clout

This is the fourth year that Penrith City Archers have hosted the Southern Hemisphere Invitational Clout, and we look forward to welcoming all the clout shooters to this event.

Please purchase an adult or youth ticket and your entry will be registered in Archers Diary. Ticket prices are: Adult $40, Youth $35 + Booking fee (Lunch included)

PCA South Creek Field Tournament

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming PCA South Creek Field Archery Tournament, a unique event that promises an unforgettable experience set against the picturesque backdrop of South Creek. This tournament offers an exceptional opportunity to test your skills and immerse yourself in nature's tranquility.

  • Time: Practice 7.00am Registration 7.30am

  • Location: Troy Adams Archery Field, South Creek Field Course

Why Attend:

Meander along the banks of South Creek, surrounded by lush bushland, as the melodious calls of bell birds fill the air. This tournament is designed to challenge and inspire archers of all levels, offering a blend of competition and camaraderie in a serene environment.

Registration:

We invite all interested archers to register for the tournament. To secure your spot, please complete the registration form available at this link by 28th February. Early registration is recommended as spots are limited. Spectators lunch tickets are also available here.

Triple Field Interclub Championships

* Registrations are limited to a total of 48 archers per event which will consist of 16 archers from each club- Penrith, Liverpool and Northern Archers.

* Penrith City Archers reserves the right to deregister an archer if they are not a financial member or associate member of any of the 3 host clubs.

*Registrations for event close 6pm Thursday 8th September. In the case of the event not being full (48 archers) each host club is allowed to fill the remaining vacant positions with their own club members by Saturday 10th September.

* The cost to each event is FREE to all participants with a BBQ beings offer by the host club.
